Indy Eviction Fillings August 24-28, 2026

This past week, as reported by the Indy Housing Project’s Eviction Data Dashboard, 427 eviction filings were recorded in Indianapolis.

Eviction filings remain an important indicator of housing instability across Marion County. Tracking these numbers provides valuable insight into the challenges many residents continue to face in having stable permanently affordable housing in Indianapolis.

As of August 29th, there has been a total of 1,153 eviction cases filed in Marion County this month, an 15.72% decrease in relation to July.
